5G Mast For Shardlow - DMOT/2021/1401

Correspondence has been posted through a number of doors in Shardlow regarding the installation of a 5G mast planned for Shardlow.

The information is incorrect and the planning application detailed (DMOT/2021/1401) is an old application from October 2021 which was withdrawn in March 2022.

Purchase of Church Field

All sessions are free of charge and open to all, resident and non-resident.

Under 8s MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult and each child will require a waiver ahead of children taking part in any activities.

DDay 80 Beacon 6th June 2024

DDay 80 Beacon 6th June 2024

The beacon was lit at 9.15pm to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings on 6th June 1944.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen, including Peter Spibey and Cllr Martyn Clifton for ensuring the beacon was full and ready to burn, Cllr Perks for the photographs and the Veterans for attending the event.

We will remember them.
